When people think of Siem Reap they typically think of the Angkor Wat temple complex. While this is one of the main attractions in the area, there is so much more to see and do. Siem Reap is a charming and vibrant town with a lot of history and culture. There are a number of excellent Bed and Breakfast (B&B) options available that offer a unique and authentic experience.
B&Bs are a wonderful option for travellers because they offer a more personal experience than a hotel. At a B&B you get to know the owners and staff, and they can provide recommendations for things to see and do in the area. B&Bs are also a great value, especially when compared to hotels.
There are a number of excellent B&Bs in Siem Reap, and the town is small enough that you can easily walk around. Some of my favourites include Angkor Spirit Villa, The Plantation, and The Porch. If you’re looking for a unique and authentic experience, I highly recommend choosing a B&B when travelling to Siem Reap.
